Biography
Although Lenina has a graduate degree in Psychology, the larger part of her education has come through her diverse life experience. From growing up in an Amish town to army boot camp, from several years working in a federal prison, to singing in a band, Lenina finds common ground with everyone she meets.
Married 22 years with two teenage sons, Lenina’s greatest joys and challenges have come from living in close quarters with three men (four including her French bulldog named Zorro!). Family life, teaching college and various political causes have added to her ability to connect with individuals and audiences of all cultures and backgrounds.
Lenina is passionate about leadership and believes that the greatest gifts we give others are the tools to live productive, purpose-filled, independent lives and the confidence to overcome adversity.
An ancient Chinese proverb says “Give a man a fish; feed him for a day, teach a man to fish; feed him for a lifetime.” Lenina adds, “…not only should we teach a man to fish, but we should hold him accountable for teaching others the same information and we’ll teach the world to feed themselves within the year.”
Lenina’s Personal Mission Statement
My mission in this life is to be “champagne in human form”.
I will live life as a rampage of gratitude, continuously celebrating personal growth and achieving dreams through deliberate creation, personal responsibility and conscious intention. I will celebrate other’s success and learn from their methods and share my positive results as well.
I will endeavor to always be married to amazement by appreciating the wonder of each moment in life. By being present and aware I will attempt to keep proper perspective and only “wage war” when my freedom is threatened or someone I love has been endangered.
I will strive to be mindfully available to others, welcoming all and judging none. I will try to be wholly contagious in my open mindedness - affecting anyone in my contact. I will teach all that I can and I will never cease to learn in every aspect of my life.
I will respect all cultures and ways of life without discrimination unless my freedom is in danger. I will defend capitalism and freedom at all costs and educate others to follow me in this principle for without freedom; we lose the ability to be open minded towards other ways of life.
I will encourage in others and demand of myself, independence and self sufficiency through persistent pursuit of good ideas, a strong work ethic and creative thinking.
I will now and forever be a spiritual seeker, finding morsels of profound truth in unlikely places and honoring that truth in the most sacred ways.
